Why Hire Eric to be Your Dog Walker?
When you can’t get home from work in time to let out your dog, you should be able to call someone who can go into your home when you’re not there and let them out, feed them, fill their water bowl and play with them.
Maybe your pet needs a walk or has medications that should be taken or applied at times when you’re at work. Eric can visit during the day or evening, mornings or afternoons to accommodate you and your pet’s schedule.
the First time visit
How It Works?
First, a Free Consultation
The first thing you should do is call me so we can meet and I will come to your home at time that’s conducive to your schedule.
My consultation begins with my first visit. I meet you at your home with your pet. You introduce me and then we spend time talking about your pet so that the pet sees that I’m a welcome guest in your home. You’re the leader: if I’m OK with you, then I’ll be OK when I come back to feed and care for your pet when you’re not at home.
I do whatever you need done to keep your animal on YOUR schedule because it’s less stress for the pet. It’s important to keep feeding, letting out, exercise and brushing or other activities near the times that you would normally do them. So, if you don’t do those things, don’t suddenly begin them while you’re gone. Keep care and timing constant. Animals like regular, consistent care and attention.
During Our First Meeting
When we meet, my goal is to let you get to know me and ask all the questions that you like. I will introduce myself, provide you with my credentials, and provide you with information sheets to complete with your information, your pet’s information and emergency information, medical history, medications, feeding schedules, exercise, Do’s and Don’ts. I want to know everything about your pet so that I can continue care as if you would.
